- Okay, this makes sense now. Who do we apply to to register a series of
- codes, though? And where would, say, text file viewers fit into the
- application group list?
-
- The reason that I am asking these questions right now is because I am
- going to need a series of 51 unique codes for MasterBrowse, my text
- file viewer. I have been working on the program since I joined this
- list to get it upgraded to a point where I can implement the final
- standard when it is approved. The windowed dialog library needed to
- be extended, for example. The context sensitive online help is also
- a feature that I worked on (though this may not be in the standard).
- The latest thing I've done is keyboard shortcuts; I had to make sure
- MasterBrowse no longer made a distiction between the shift keys and
- remove the old method of changing keyboard shortcuts. Anyway, the
- point is that I would like to write my parser routine immediately after
- the final data file format is approved, a task for which I will need
- the above-mentioned codes.
